Pension Day 2017
Op vrijdag 13 oktober is de jaarlijkse Netspar Pension Day gehouden in het Beatrix Theater. Hier zijn de nieuwste inzichten gepresenteerd uit een groot aantal aan Netspar gerelateerde onderzoeksprojecten. Naast enkele senior onderzoekers waren er vooral veel jonge onderzoekers zoals promovendi en postdocs die hun werk voor het eerst presenteerden aan een publiek van wetenschappers en professionals uit de sector. Niet alleen traditionele Netspar onderwerpen kwamen aan bod; er was ook veel ruimte voor de inzichten die andere disciplines kunnen opleveren voor de Netspar onderzoeksvragen. Voorbeelden zijn de psychologie van pensioencommunicatie en pensioenbeslissingen, het belang van de sociale omgeving voor uittreding, de problemen van de langdurige zorg, het verband tussen gezondheid en langer doorwerken en juridische aspecten van pensioenen zoals eigendomsrecht. Opvallend was ook het aantal papers met resultaten voor andere landen (o.a. China, Zweden, en Australië) en de lessen die we daaruit kunnen leren voor het Nederlandse pensioenstelsel.
