Taskforce Day, October 11
On Thursday, October 11 Netspar hosted the first ever Taskforce Day, were the first drafts of 10 papers and the first results of two project groups were discussed. You can read the abstracts of this new research under ´Program´.
Netspar will be grouping the taskforces together to discuss ongoing papers on certain set days per year where 10 to 15 papers can be discussed in parallel sessions. These days will also provide an opportunity for a topical plenary session
Informed in part by the partner evaluation, Netspar hopes the taskforce days accomplish the following:
- Earlier release of information on the meetings so that they can be planned earlier
- Meeting the demand for more larger events on bundled topics
- Giving participants an opportunity to learn about multiple topics/discussions and thus become more acquainted with the research underway
- Bolstering the network function by enlarging the group of participants
