Graduate students: Netspar Pensions Honors Program
For graduate students, there is the Netspar Pensions Honors Program specialization offered in conjunction with Tilburg University in all Tisem (Tilburg school of Economics & Management) Master courses, but the program is particularly in line with Finance, Economics, Econometrics & Mathematical Economics, and Quantitative Finance & Actuarial Science. The Honors Program includes following the course ‘Economics and Finance of Pensions’ (EFP, Fall or Spring-edition), a community program with company visits, peer review sessions, and meetings with experts, so that a student can specialize more specifically.
“Netspar plays an important role in making the impact of scientific research visible in society. In addition, Netspar provides post-graduate and executive education that contributes to life long learning, which in our vision is the benchmark for the future.”
Emile Aarts, Tilburg University
To further motivate talented students and researchers, Netspar awards several Thesis Awards each year, in the amount of 3,000 euros, in the categories Bachelor, (Research) Master and PhD thesis. Finally, there is a thesis award for the best final Netspar Tias Academy assignment.
The Netspar Thesis Awards are presented at the annual Netspar Pension Workshop in January.
