New Theme Projects: €1 Million Total Awarded for Three-year Research Projects

Following scientific validation by the Scientific Council and a positive recommendation from the Partner Research Council, the Netspar Board of Directors has awarded three applications for theme projects grants of €250,000 each:

The scheduled start date for the projects is January 1, 2021.

A total of nine proposals were submitted. In August, Instituut Gak had already selected one of those proposals to receive a subsidy of €250,000, awarding it to Dr. Mark Visser (RUN): “Understanding old age inequality: the impact of work, family and health trajectories on post-retirement economic, social and pscychological well-being across Europe”.

Netspar is very pleased with this additional funding from Instituut Gak for pension and retirement research.

Netspar, Network for Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement, is a thinktank and knowledge network. Netspar is dedicated to promoting a wider understanding of the economic and social implications of pensions, aging and retirement in the Netherlands and Europe.
