Netspar organizes this online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting for partners and employees of partners. Researchers will outline their latest retirement research and then receive feedback and answer questions. It is just another way we bring science, academics, and professional practice closer together.
Who do participants (not) trust and why (not)? And how do participants inform themselfs about their pension and why?
In this online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting by Jelle Strikwerda (Universiteit Utrecht) you will hear initial answers to these questions, and to the considerations of pension participants behind them. We also discuss possible points for improvement for communication that can be based on this research. Questions and input on this ongoing research are most welcome. This is a Dutch-speaking event.
This research is being conducted together with Hans Hoeken & Bregje Holleman (both Universiteit Utrecht).
Met de Wet toekomst pensioenen – en in het bijzonder de open norm omtrent keuzebegeleiding – wordt het belangrijker om deelnemers zo optimaal mogelijk te kunnen begeleiden rondom hun pensioen. We moeten daartoe inzicht krijgen in naar wie deelnemers luisteren, de bronnen die ze vertrouwen en de wijze waarop ze zich informeren. In dit onderzoek hebben we in totaal 46 interviews gehouden met pensioenconsulenten, -adviseurs en -deelnemers om op een diepgaande en kwalitatieve manier meer inzicht te krijgen in de informatiebehoefte, en meer specifiek in de bron- en kanaalvoorkeuren van deelnemers, aan de hand van twee onderzoeksvragen. Wie vertrouwen deelnemers (niet) en waarom (niet)? En hoe informeren deelnemers zich over hun pensioen en waarom?
