On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the annual Matchmaking Event for the Theme Call 2026 will take place.
Participation from partners is an important success factor.

The Netspar Board of Directors will start with a brief introduction on the available funding opportunities and procedures.
After that, several researchers will present their research ideas, and partners will have the opportunity to share their interests.
Following the sessions, there will be time for networking to foster collaboration between science and practice.

Europese pensioenfondsen lopen voorop op het gebied van duurzaam beleggen, maar toenemende geopolitieke spanningen roepen de vraag op of hun focus op beleggen met oog voor milieu of sociale aspecten plaats zal maken voor nieuw beleggingsbeleid waarbij veiligheid centraal staat. De laatste jaren klinkt steeds vaker de roep om pensioenfondsen meer te laten beleggen in defensie en andere vormen van veiligheid, inclusief voorstellen om de regels voor beleggingen in controversiële wapens te versoepelen.
