Organization
The Netspar organization was established as a foundation that has an operational unit. The foundation’s mission, strategy, action plan, and budget are set by our partners in the pension, retirement, and insurance industry and academia.
Organization
The Netspar Foundation pursues it activities through the Netspar Center, an operational unit of Tilburg University.
The organization consists of a Foundation Board, Supervisory Board, Board of Directors, and Administration Office as well as the following Advisory Bodies:
- Scientific Council
- Partner Research Council
- Editorial Board
Netspar Board
The Netspar Board is responsible for planning and executing all activities. The director of the Netspar Foundation is Lisa Brüggen, in which capacity she is also the general director of the Netspar Center.

Annual Report
Netspar compiles an annual report each year in which we present the details about how we have pursued our mission: to wit, working on the continual enhancement of the environment in the Netherlands for financing retirement.
The annual report comprises the following sections:
- Brief reflections on the year’s activities from the Director and the Chair of the Supervisory Board
- The main key figures and an overview of the year’s highlights
- A top three of the most-read papers and most well-attended seminars
- A financial annual report
