Research meeting; Collective investments in the new Dutch pension system
On Monday, June 13, 2022 a Netspar research meeting on the theme of Collective investments in the new Dutch pension system will be held.
As many of you know, we are on the verge of a major transition of the Dutch pension system, which will have important implications for the investment policies of pension funds. During this meeting, Netspar fellows Roel Mehlkopf (Tilburg University & Cardano) and Nikolaus Schweizer (Tilburg University) will present their latest research on this topic. Roel will focus on intergenerational transfers in the new Dutch pension contract. Nicolaus will discuss the topic of collective investments, minmax regret and the geometry of preferences.
Netspar research meetings are aimed solely at academic researchers affiliated with Netspar and are intended as a platform to present and discuss recent research on a topic related to the broad area of aging, pensions, and retirement. These meetings also facilitate discussions of future research topics and potential collaborations. The program will also regularly include informative contributions on current policy topics. It is our intention to organize such a research meeting four times a year. Suggestions on topics for future meetings are most welcome.
