Procrastinating pension planning

Pension planning is becoming more and more the responsibility of individuals. However, many people do not engage in pension planning or do so too late. In other words, they procrastinate in their pension decisions. This proposal describes a practical intervention, De Toekomst Tastbaar Maken, which is based in a theoretical analysis of procrastination in terms of choice conflict. The intervention targets the various sources of choice conflict in pension planning in order to decrease procrastination and help people make better-informed pension decisions.
