Well-attended public event on pensions at Maastricht University

Pensions seem like a distant prospect? Not for more than 240 employees of Maastricht University. On Tuesday, November 11, they attended a public event organized by Netspar in collaboration with Maastricht University and ABP. The event’s motto was: have you already arranged your nest egg?

The public event was part of the national Pension3days event, during which extra attention is paid to pension awareness throughout the country. In this context, university employees discovered the choices they can already make now regarding their pensions and what the new pension rules mean for them.

Speakers included Professor Rob Bauer and Professor Lisa Brüggen from Maastricht University and Netspar and Fabian Schumans from ABP. Their contributions provided participants with valuable insights and practical tools for their pension planning. It was an afternoon full of inspiration, concrete examples, and discussions about the future of pensions.

Last year, Netspar organized a similar public event for Tilburg University staff.
