The Supervisory Board of the Netspar Foundation has appointed Casper van Ewijk for a second term as Director. Also, as of June 1, 2017, Marike Knoef will join Netspar’s Board of Directors. Within this function Marike will focus on establishing Netspar’s Work program 2019-2023.
Casper van Ewijk re-appointed as director of the Netspar Foundation
The Supervisory Board of the Netspar Foundation has appointed Casper van Ewijk for a second term as Director. The Supervisory Board highly values Netspar’s management over the past period, in which Netspar has been able to play a more prominent role in realizing a well-informed pension debate. With this reappointment, the Supervisory Board is confident that Casper van Ewijk will lead Netspar to the launch of a successful new Netspar Work program and new funding capabilities.
The nomination is for a period of four years and starts at October 1, 2017, at the end of the current term. Casper van Ewijk has been managing director of Netspar since 2013. It is a part time appointment. Casper van Ewijk also continues his current part time position as Professor of Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
Marike Knoef appointed in Netspar Board
As of June 1, 2017, Marike Knoef will join Netspar’s Board of Directors. Within this function, Marike will focus on establishing Netspar’s Work program 2019-2023, while continuing her efforts to develop and share knowledge in the important field of microeconomics.
Marike is appointed at Netspar for two days a week. In addition, she remains Associate Professor at Leiden University for three days a week. As a researcher and project leader, Marike remains involved in previously awarded theme projects and topicality projects. Marike will resign her seat at the Netspar Partner Research Council, where she represented Leiden University.
