Netspar Thesis Awards granted: excellent contributions to netspar research program

Netspar congratulates the winners of the Netspar thesis awards 2020: Lieke Kools, Bas Temme, Aldert Boonen, Rob Custers, Patrick van der Kleij and Bart Kuijpers. The prizes of € 3.000 each handed out by Fieke van der Lecq (chairman of the Editorial Board) were awarded during the annual International Pension Workshop to outstanding master, phd and Tias theses within the Netspar research program.
All nominated papers were assessed on academic quality, relevance to the Netspar research program, originality and execution of the research and accessibility and presentation.
And the winners are…
- Bas Temme with his master thesis “Life-Cycle Investment Design Strategies for Dutch top-up plans”;
- Lieke Kools with her dissertation “Wealth, health and data collection“;
- Aldert Boonen, Rob Custers, Patrick van der Kleij and Bart Kuijpers with their Tias theses titled “Ondersteuning pensioendeelnemers met keuzes rond lumpsum bij pensionering”.
Netspar thanks all contenders for their contribution and the jury for their expert assessment.
