Guiding people in their selection of options using an online tool is seen as a promising method for supporting large groups of participants in a personalized way. But does guided selection using an online tool provide adequate guidance for the kinds of complicated choices that need to be made in pension and retirement decisions. Or is some kind of human support still required?
In this After Lunch Webinar, Minou van der Werf shares the results of a field experiment comparing the pension decisions and understanding of those decisions between participants who received guidance through an online tool and those who used the online tool with the support of a financial advisor.
