Online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting: A welfare-oriented pension for all working people in the Netherlands?

Netspar organizes this online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting for partners and employees of partners. Researchers will outline their latest retirement research and then receive feedback and answer questions. It is just another way we bring science, academics, and professional practice closer together.

Two problems remained unresolved in the pension agreement: declining participation in pension schemes (white spot and self-employed persons) and the need for a pension that is more prosperous. In this online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting, Eduard Ponds (APG, Tilburg University) compares various solution routes with the most fundamental solution being the introduction of an NDC (‘Not financial or ‘Notional’ Defined Contribution) pension. After a short introduction, Niels Kortleve (PGGM) will give his vision on the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solution routes. This is a Dutch-speaking event.

This research is being conducted together with Lex Meijdam (Tilburg University) and Casper van Ewijk (Universiteit van Amsterdam, Netspar).

Locatie: Tilburg University Seminar Room K834 Warandelan 2 5037 AB Tilburg
