Netspar organizes this online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting for partners and employees of partners. Researchers will outline their latest retirement research and then receive feedback and answer questions. It is just another way we bring science, academics, and professional practice closer together.

In this online After Lunch Taskforce Meeting by Jessica van den Heuvel – Warren (Tilburg University) you will hear more about the pension provision in The Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and to what extent the recommendations of the European Commission are taken into account. Questions and input on this ongoing research are most welcome. This is a Dutch-speaking event.

Aan de hand van een rechtsvergelijking de pensioensystemen van Nederland, Duitsland, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Zwitserland geanalyseerd. Er wordt gekeken op welke wijze deze vier landen, met ieder hun eigen nationale pensioensysteem, invulling geven aan een adequaat pensioen en in hoeverre rekening wordt gehouden met de aanbevelingen van de Europese Commissie. Tevens wordt gekeken of er verschillen zitten tussen de landen die lid zijn van de Europese Unie (Nederland en Duitslands) en degene die dat niet (meer) zijn (het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Zwitserland).

Bijeenkomst Projectgroep Auto-enrolment
This event focuses on auto-enrolment, one of the recent recommendations of the European Commission. Ruth Persian of Nest Insight will give a presentation on the UK experience with encouraging retirement saving among the self-employed, with particular attention to the opportunities offered by auto-enrolment and the lessons learned from research and practice. In addition, the Netspar Auto-enrolment project group will present its findings on what these recommendations could mean for the Netherlands, as well as insights from the scientific literature on the effects, opportunities, and challenges of auto-enrolment.

Kennisgroep Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Beleggen online sessie 2
In 2026 zet Netspar de Kennisgroep Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Beleggen (MVB) voort. In deze kennisgroep komen pensioenprofessionals en onderzoekers drie keer online samen om kennis te delen, inzichten te verdiepen en actuele ontwikkelingen binnen MVB te bespreken. De kennisgroep biedt een vertrouwde en interactieve setting waarin ruimte is voor uitwisseling en verdieping. We bouwen voort op eerdere edities, met een vernieuwde aanpak: meer interactie, meer verdieping en een sterkere focus op concrete, toepasbare inzichten. Het doel van de kennisgroep is tweeledig: enerzijds het versterken van de MVB-community binnen Netspar, en anderzijds het laagdrempelig delen van actuele kennis. Daarnaast halen we relevante vragen op voor nieuw onderzoek en proberen we – waar mogelijk – direct antwoorden te formuleren op vraagstukken uit de praktijk.
