Annual PhD Meeting on Pensions

We are pleased to announce that the annual PhD Meeting on Pensions will take place on Thursday 9 April 2026 (afternoon) at Tilburg University.

This meeting is jointly organised by Maastricht University, Tilburg University, and Netspar and brings together researchers working on pensions and related topics, across disciplines and career stages, for an afternoon of discussion, feedback, and exchange of ideas.
As in previous years, we warmly welcome PhD candidates, early career researchers, as well as more senior scholars and supervisors.

Introduction to Science Communication: “How to Promote Your Research Online”
Tilburg University science communication specialist Femke Trommels
Interactive presentation that focuses on translating academic research into accessible and impactful online messages. Participants explore why effective online communication is essential in an increasingly interconnected world. The session offers practical guidance on promoting research through digital channels. For example, hands-on insights into using social media strategically, writing compelling blogs, and creating engaging online content.

Each presentation, feedback included will take 25 minutes, if your presentation is selected we will provide further information in due course.
