MASTER education
MSC TRACKS 2020
This program is offered as part of all of the graduate programs provided by the Tilburg School of Economics & Management (TISEM), but it specifically targets four master’s programs:
- Master of Finance;
- Master of Economics;
- Master of Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (EME); and
- Master of Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science (QFAS).
The Pensions Honors Program offers a unique specialization in pensions, retirement, and aging at Tilburg University, with the course The Economics and Finance of Pensions at its core. Along with this course, Netspar offers graduate students a community program consisting of various events and activities, such as the International Pension Workshop, interactive lectures from experts in the pensions and retirement field, and company visits. Students are eligible to receive a certificate if they successfully pass the Economics and Finance of Pensions course and write a thesis about a Netspar-related topic.
Of the students from 2020, at the time of publication of this annual report, 34 had joined the Netspar community, 59 were officially enrolled in the program and 6 students graduated with a Netspar certificate. Students have been attending events and a number of them have indicated that they will be writing their thesis on a pensions- or retirement-related topic.
