SMALL VISION PROJECTS

 

Starting point of these projects is the structural collaboration between academic research at post doctoral or PhD student level, and pension industry in the Netherlands.

 

Netspar endows funds for the appointment of a post doctoral researcher or PhD Student, with a maximum of €65,000 for a maximum of three years. The remaining part of the project costs (e.g. costs for the position of the researcher, academic/industry guidance and/or experiments) are funded by the affiliated university and collaborating industry members.

 

Projects are comparable to the PhD Student Projects initiated in 2010. The post doctoral researcher or PhD Student will write at least two Netspar Industry Papers in the first two years of the project. In case it concerns a PhD Student, he or she will have no form of teaching obligations. Ultimately the PhD Student will also write a dissertation.
