Visitor Grants
Netspar, the research network on Pensions, Aging and Retirement based in the Netherlands, invites proposals for academic visitors. Netspar conducts innovative scientific research on all aspects of the economics of ageing. Topics of interest are, among others,
  • Macroeconomic aspects of ageing and retirement;
  • Life cycle behaviour of individuals;
  • Aging and health;
  • Financial and investment decisions of pension funds and financial institutions. More information about Netspar's research program.

    We invite top researchers in the area of pensions, aging and retirement to apply for a one week to three-month visit. This programme allows researchers in the economics of pensions and aging to join forces with the Netspar research group and present their work at one of the pension days or workshops.

    Netspar has its main facilities at Tilburg University, but visitors may also stay at one of the other research universities participating in Netspar: Amsterdam (UvA and VU), Groningen, Maastricht, Rotterdam, and Utrecht. Netspar will cover travel (economy fare) and accommodation costs.

    For further questions about the visitor programme and applications, please contact one of the Netspar research coordinators, Ben Heijdra or Frank de Jong.

    The applications should contain a brief statement of purpose and a recent full CV. There is no formal deadline for submissions, but for visits in 2008 we prefer applications to arrive by March 1, 2008.
