The advisory board advises the dean of FEB of Tilburg University and the board of directors on the composition and aims of the research program, the evaluation of Netspar's activities, the determination of the policy and budget, as well as the joining of new partners of Netspar.
The advisory board consists of ten persons, namely the vice-dean of research of FEB and the vice-dean of research of FSW of Tilburg University, two representatives of other partner universities and six representatives of non-academic partner institutions.
Three categories of non-academic partner institutions are distinguished: pension funds and asset liability companies, insurance companies and banks, government bodies and regulators.
