Any researcher (except those already funded by Netspar) can apply for a research grant. In 2012 seven grants of € 10,000 will be distributed. Examples of earlier years.

Application requirements
Proposals for a research grant should contain the following information:

Title page with names of all authors and contact details of the corresponding author

Description of the research question and an indication how the paper contributes to the existing literature and to Netspar's research program (max. 3 pages)

Description of data needed and other relevant information for the feasibility of the project

Timetable for completion of the project (max 1/2 page)

Statement about other funding for the project (if applicable)
- CV applicants
Only applications in accordance with the Netspar format will be accepted for the selection procedure. Please convert seperate documents into one file.
Submission
Proposals can be submitted by email to info@netspar.nl, mentioning: Application for Netspar Research Grant. Deadline for submission is May 13, 2012.
Selection process
The research coordinators and academic experts for each different scientific discipline support the evaluation of proposals. Grants are awarded by the Netspar Board of Directors under the condition that the proposed paper contains new and original work (at the latest by the end of June).
