SCHOLARSHIPS AND WAIVERS
Scholarships for EEA students Economics and Finance of Aging
European (including Dutch) students who enroll in the master program Economics and Finance of Aging (EFA) with good results in their preceding educational phase may apply for an EFA-scholarship, carrying an amount of € 3,000.
To be eligible, a student should have completed a preceding bachelor or master program with an average mark of at least 7.5 on a scale of 1 tot 10. The average mark of 7.5 either applies to the complete program or to the last full year of the program. A letter of support from a lecturer (preferably the thesis supervisor) is required. This scholarship cannot be combined with another substantial scholarship (of at least € 3,000) for the same program.
If you would like to apply for this scholarship, please send an e-mail with your résumé, grades and a letter of support before September 1, 2011 to the Netspar secretariat. Applications received after September 1, 2011, will not be taken into consideration.
Waivers for non-EEA students Economics and Finance of Aging
Non-EEA students who enroll in the master program Economics and Finance of Aging (EFA) with good results in their preceding educational phase may apply for a EFA-tuition waiver, resulting in a reduction of the tuition fee from over € 10,000 to € 6,312.
To be eligible, a student should have completed a preceding bachelor or master program with an average mark of at least 7.5 on a scale of 1 tot 10. The average mark of 7.5 either applies to the complete program or the last year of the program. A letter of support from a lecturer (preferably the thesis supervisor) is required.
If you would like to apply for this waiver, please send an e-mail with your resume, grades and a letter of support to the Netspar-secretariat. A decision will be made within six weeks after the complete application has been received by Netspar. Applications received after September 1, 2011 will not be taken into consideration.
