ACADEMIC COURSES

Separate courses, special tracks, or the complete MSc program

As employee of one of the (non-academic) Netspar partners represented in the Industry Council, you are welcome to take part in one or more courses of the Master Economics and Finance of Aging. Beside separate courses, we offer three tracks, each consisting of three coherent courses. You may also choose to apply for the complete MSc program. In all cases, participation is free.

Certificate or diploma

If you take a single course, or a specialized track, you will receive a certificate upon successful completion. If you complete the entire program, you will receive the title Master of Science in Economics and Finance of Aging. PhD students from partner universities that wish to participate in one or more courses, please contact Netspar's Director of Education.

Easy to combine with work

To facilitate the combination of  a full time job with the EFA Master's program, each individual course is scheduled on one day. This way, a single course will only cost you about four hours a day, once a week. The course Introduction to Economics and Finance of Aging is videotaped and available on our website.

Small groups, lots of interaction

Lectures are given to relatively small groups of students, creating opportunities for interaction between the lecturer, employees from Netspar partners and other students. You will be challenged to actively participate in the lectures, you will receive assignments and will be asked to provide suggestions to apply theory to practice and use your practical experience to clarify theory.
