Are you interested in issues related to the economics and finance of aging? You can win one of the 4 scholarships of 3000 Euro that Netspar provides to selected students entering the second year of the MPhil program in September 2008. There will be an open competition among the second-year MPhil students of the Economics Faculties participating in Netspar. The Netspar board will select candidates on the basis of the following criteria:
1. The quality of the student (as indicated by grades, reference letters, et cetera);
2. The quality of the research proposal and its relation to Netspar’s goals.
Procedure:
Applications consisting of:
a CV
a list of grades
written work of the candidate (if already available)
a research proposal
a reference letter of a Netspar researcher stating that he/she is willing to supervise the MPhil-thesis
one additional reference letter
should be sent to Netspar before September 1, 2008. The Netspar board will decide on the allocation of the scholarships before October 1,2008.
