Executive training for pension and insurance professionals
Academic Courses
Employees of Netspar partners - particularly young potentials with a recent academic training - who want to deepen their theoretic knowledge, can join separate courses or special tracks of the above mentioned Master program. For them, participation is free of charge.
Thematic, interactive courses
Professionals and board members in the field of pensions and insurance with an interest in thematic, interactive, post-academic training are welcome to participate in the courses of the Netspar - Maastricht University SBE Academy. Each course has a central, current theme that will be interactively approached by prominent international professors. Per module there are two free seats for each Netspar partner.
Research Master scholarships
Students of the Research Master program who are interested in issues related to the economics and finance of aging can win one of the 4 scholarships of 3000 Euro that Netspar provides. Second-year Research Master students of the Economics Faculties participating in Netspar can join this open competition.
Netspar Thesis Awards
The Netspar Thesis Awards are presented yearly for outstanding theses at the Bachelor’s, the Master’s, the Research Master's level and for best dissertation on aging issues. In all four categories a prize of € 3.000 is available. The prizes are presented at the Netspar Workshop in January.
